ATLANTIC CANADA TOUR FOR THE NEWCOMERS PROJECT
Newcomers: Stories of Refugee and Immigrant Children sheds light on the challenges faced by young newcomers to Nova Scotia as they adjust to life in their new home. This production is the result of a collaboration between the Halifax Theatre for Young People and the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21. It is an honor for me to tour across Atlantic Canada and amplify the voices of immigrants and refugees by delivering the message of acceptance. The show will be performed for several schools across the region.
NEW FACE OF MARITIME MODEL MANAGEMENT
I am thrilled to announce my upcoming modeling debut with Maritime Model Management this year. This exciting opportunity arose after winning a prestigious beauty pageant. I am grateful for the agency's representation, and I am eagerly anticipating the chance to explore the world of modeling alongside my passion for acting. This journey promises to be an incredible adventure, and I cannot wait to see where it takes me.
STUDY AND STAY PROGRAM WINNER
During the summer of 2023, I had the privilege of participating in the Study and Stay Program, hosted by the Arthur L. Irving Entrepreneurship Centre at Saint Mary's University. The program's culmination was a pitch competition, and I am thrilled to share that my business idea emerged as the winner. As a result, I secured $4,000 in funding to kickstart my entrepreneurial journey. This experience was not only financially rewarding but also incredibly educational. I gleaned valuable insights throughout the program and had the opportunity to connect and network with fellow entrepreneurs, further enriching my entrepreneurial journey.
MISS SOUTH ASIAN GEM NOVA SCOTIA 2023
I am honored to hold the title of MISS SOUTH ASIA NOVA SCOTIA 2023. This prestigious pageant featured three captivating rounds, commencing with the introduction and ramp walk, followed by mesmerizing performances, and culminating in a final round featuring another captivating ramp walk and a thought-provoking Q&A session. Notably, this event marked a historic moment as it was hosted by Limitless Events, making it the first of its kind in Atlantic Canada. The entire experience remains surreal, and these memories will forever hold a cherished place in my heart.
HALIFAX FRINGE FESTIVAL
In 2023, I had the privilege of highlighting my talents at the Halifax Fringe Festival, where I performed in a comedy show titled 'The Object at Trash Beach.' This production was a collaborative effort by Villains and Unnatural Disaster Theatre, and it centered around the intriguing themes of UFOs and aliens. Our 30-minute performance quickly gained recognition and earned a spot on the hot ticket list on just the second day of the festival, competing with 49 other remarkable shows across the city during the 10-day event.
FOUNDATIONS PROGRAM BY ENTREPRENEURSHIP CENTRE
Being a part of this experiential learning program, specifically designed to nurture students' networking and relationship-building skills, has proven to be immensely beneficial. The one-on- one sessions offer us a unique opportunity to introspect from a professional perspective, facilitating personal growth and development.
IPSC LITERARY FEST 2018
I had the privilege of participating in the IPSC Literary Fest hosted in Pune, India, where I entered various events and proudly emerged as the winner. I was honored with the title of 'Best Debater in Hindi' among all IPSC Schools, highlighting my prowess in this field. Additionally, I clinched the first prize in both Hindi Debate and Hindi Creative Writing, where I penned a heartfelt poem capturing the essence of a father-daughter relationship.
